Der Hocker Equus (lat. Pferd) verdankt seinen Namen der Sitzfläche, die an einen Sattel erinnert. Sie ist in den Rahmen gespannt und formt sich beim Setzen zu einer bequemen Mulde aus. Der hintere Teil ist leicht angehoben, so dass eine gerade Sitzposition unterstützt wird. Sein geringes Gewicht und die Stapelbarkeit machen ihn zu einem flexibel einsetzbaren Sitzmöbel.
The stools name „Equus“ (latin for horse) is owed to his saddle shaped seat. It is tensioned in the wooden frame and forms itself into a comfortable hollow while seating. The rear part is slightly raised and supports a straight and healthy seating position. A low weight and the stackability of several stools makes it a flexible applicable seating furniture.
